Getting in

Six steps to the road

One R3SPECT account does everything — the game, VIP and the website.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Your e-mail and a password. One account for the whole site.

  2. 02

    Make your game login

On your profile page. The server sets it up in a few minutes.

  3. 03

    Run the installer

From your profile. It installs the game into an "R3SPECT Online" folder, resumes a broken download and can add a Windows Defender exception for it.

  4. 04

    Start the launcher

It patches the game for you — and itself. Every update reaches you that way.

  5. 05

    Job and Fellow

Pick Hunter or Thief on the character selection screen, then buy a Fellow pet and summon it.

  6. 06

    Open the red box

The R3 Starter Pack: level cap for you and your Fellow, job cap, SP, gold and a full inventory. The Degree 15 gear is free at the R3 Store in Hotan.

Patch notes

What changed, newest first — open the full log for everything before. The launcher patches you automatically: start it, let it finish, play.

1v1 Duel Arena · Coming soon

Challenge anyone to a fair 1v1

Challenge any player to a fair 1v1 fight, anywhere outside the towns. We will keep this post updated as the duel arena grows.

  • Challenge — right-click a player and press Duel, or type /duel Name in chat. They get a box to accept or refuse.
  • Play for Honor — put Honor points at stake, from 20 Honor. The winner takes the stake.
  • The arena builds itself around you — a Mongol-style fighting ring rises around the two fighters: wooden fences, banners dropping from the sky, a fire altar, weapon racks, a watchtower and a bets camp whose bookmaker and guard walk in. When the duel ends it all crumbles and the NPCs walk away.
  • Just the two of you — after a short countdown only the duellists can hit each other: no murder status, nobody else can interfere, and you can't leave the ring.
  • No death penalty — the losing blow leaves the loser at 1 HP: no EXP loss, no drops, no durability loss.
  • Give up any time with the same button, which turns into "Give up". Logging out or teleporting away counts as giving up.
  • The winner is announced to the whole server.

Update v253 — logins, trading and handy fixes

When you start the game, the launcher updates it first.

  • Logging in without VIP — accounts without VIP log in with the R3SPECT game client (start the game with the R3SPECT launcher). Once you are in the game you can switch phBot to clientless. A clientless phBot login for an account without VIP is refused with "Login server error or the account does not exist": log in with the game client first, then switch. Logging in with the game client through phBot works. Still one character without VIP per PC.
  • VIP accounts — no change, log in any way you like.
  • Fixed — some players were disconnected with a "no R3SPECT client" message although they used the client.
  • R3Client.dll — the game now needs this file in its folder; if it is missing, a message tells you and the game does not start. The launcher puts it back by itself, for example after an antivirus took it: just start the launcher again. The launcher itself updates with this patch.
  • The thieves' den market — too many caravans are robbed right outside their towns, so the den is flooded with those goods and pays only the stake for them. Goods taken far out on the roads are scarce and worth more, and when the den asks for certain goods it still pays its demand bonus. Free trade goods are worth nothing to the den.
  • Free trade goods — the 33 free goods a day now count across the whole server, not per area.
  • Constantinople ↔ Alexandria — the route pays a new rate.
  • Thieves — the cargo panel shows what a caravan's goods would bring at the den, and the merchant pipe shows the exact honor the dealer pays for your stolen goods.
  • Job balance — the Hunter / Thief join limit counts only active players (played in the last 14 days). Nobody loses a job.
  • Called-in monsters — the monsters the boosted uniques call for help leave 30 minutes after they appear (no drops, no EXP), so the fields no longer fill up with them.
  • Stacks — Energy of Life scrolls and speed potions and scrolls stack up to 1,000.
  • +50 STR / +50 INT scrolls — right-click the buff to end it, like the normal scrolls; cooldown 1 second (was 1 hour).
  • Socket Stone of Liberation — the grades with an active skill: skill cooldown 30 seconds (was 60).
  • Auto-imbue — turns itself back on right after you are revived.
  • Stat points — hold Ctrl and click "+" on STR or INT to add up to 100 points at once.

Tuned after the first days on the road

  • Uniques pay double — for the level 130 cap, world uniques pay twice the honor and twice the Elements of Destruction. Jewels stay as they are. Unique honor now shows "[n] Honor Points gained." in the system log, like all other honor.
  • Boss drops in stacks — Elements of Destruction drop in stacks of 5 and Sabakun's jewels in stacks of 2: the same totals, far less to pick up. The biggest bosses no longer lose part of their drops to the ground limit.
  • Tougher caravans — the Hunter's caravan and the Thief's merchant pipe hold about a third more HP; the biggest takes 1,230,512.
  • Sharper thief tips — the Trade tab tells the thieves who heard about a trade when it was raided (thieves sold its goods at the dealer, e.g. 20/33), lost (its goods vanished from the ground — stolen goods a thief dropped and nobody brought back within 10 minutes count as lost too) or completed, and in which town. 4- and 5-star trades are tipped again after a ferry, tunnel, flying-ship or gate crossing — now including the Asia Minor–Egypt ferry and the Delta, Storm Desert and King's Valley gates near Alexandria.
  • Thieves call for backup — a thief who has a trader's loaded caravan in sight shows up on the other thieves' minimap and world map, so they can join the hunt, until he loses sight of it or dies — even while he stands still attacking it. A thief carrying stolen goods never shows up, and traders never see thieves on the map — the trader is only told when he is being tracked.
  • A chat for your job — what you write in the Trade tab (or start with "&") reaches everyone of your job on the whole server, in blue in the All tab: thieves see "Name(Global Thief)", Hunters and traders see "Name(Global Hunter)". The two sides never see each other's lines.
  • Pick pets — can only be traded, sold in a stall, dropped or put in guild storage with an empty inventory.
  • Riding a Fellow pet — attacks on the pet you ride now hit you, and you are not knocked back while seated (damage and stuns still land). The pet itself still can't die.
  • Login rules — one character without VIP per PC, played through the R3SPECT game client. A second one from the same PC is refused at the login screen, with a button to get VIP. With any VIP rank, Bronze and up, there is no limit and clientless play is allowed. Premium alone does not count as VIP.
  • Combat you can read — every hit you take is shown with its damage number; hits that arrived late used to be skipped silently. Your HP bar follows the hits you see instead of freezing and then dropping all at once. Standing up from a knock-down straight into a skill now shows the skill and its damage, and a knock-down on your screen lasts exactly as long as it does on the server.
  • No instant comeback in job fights — killed by a player while you wear a job suit, or in Fortress War? Your Resurrection and Reverse Return scrolls work again 1 minute after you die. Ordinary PvP and deaths to monsters: no wait, as before.
  • Anonymous in the arena — in Deathmatch and Last Man Standing your pet no longer shows your name.
  • Arena sign-up — the "players on stand-by" count updates the moment someone joins or leaves.
  • Unique buffs don't stack — a unique monster holds one copy of each buff at a time.
  • Trace keeps up — Trace no longer drops a player who wears a job suit.
  • Trade honor counts for your crest — honor from selling, settling, thief sales and escorts now counts toward the crest titles, and the crest updates the moment you gain honor.
  • Premium Lucky Powder — now works on all Devil's Spirits.
  • Alchemy window — the item tooltip and its "Stat totals" box refresh properly, and clicking a window brings its attached boxes to the front.
  • Old accounts removed — accounts from before 2026 that came with the server's original database are gone. If you only had a login from before R3SPECT, register a new account.
  • EU flag — the server list shows the EU flag.
  • Installer 1.3.2 — shows its version in the window, handy for bug reports. (The current installer is 1.3.5.)
15 October 2026

Free daily items for everyone

  • The item mall's New & Free Daily tab gives every player, VIP or not, up to 30 of each per account per day: Wheel of Fate, Wheel of Fortune, Max Enhancer and Max Protector.
  • A small counter on each item shows how many you took today. It resets at 00:00 UTC.
  • VIP Silver and higher still find these four on the Alchemy shelf, with no daily limit.
15 October 2026

Hotfix: phBot launch and the installer

  • Client 1.250 — starting the game through phBot ("Launch") works again; the client no longer stays hidden until "Hide Client" is pressed twice. The launcher delivers it automatically.
  • Installer 1.3.1 — fixes installs that stopped at about 56% (Data.pk2) and kept saying "connection lost" on some Windows PCs. Stuck? Download the installer again from your profile and run it into the same folder — it continues where it stopped.

29 September 2026 · The big update

The big update — and a new home

  • A new server machine with much faster disks. The game now connects to sro.r3spect.win — the launcher patches your client to it automatically, no reinstall. Fresh installs get the new installer from your profile.
  • The Survival Arena is open around the clock — Last Man Standing, Deathmatch and Party arenas (2v2, 4v4, 8v8), all paying Honor. The Battle Arena pays Honor now too, instead of arena coins.
  • Crest titles — Justice, Protection, Charge and Courage, up to +10% damage, earned with this month's arena honor.
  • The Valor — your profile on L, and your own banners. The season's top three fly theirs on the town gates of Hotan, Jangan and Constantinople.
  • Every existing Fellow pet raised to level 130, and the R3 Starter Pack now levels your Fellow with you. New Purchase Pet Buffs shop.
  • Sound, finally fixed — the volume sliders work over their whole range (quiet is quiet, not silent or full blast), effects no longer cut out when turned down, music is no longer full volume at the low end, and effect and environment volume are kept after a restart.
  • Gori's Equipment Exchange now takes wheeled armour and it keeps its blues.
  • HP and MP Recovery Grains at the potion merchant in every town.
  • Fellow pets: summoning sickness after death 10 s (was 30), STR/INT buff cooldown 30 s (was 300), and the SROR Macro's Summon Trigger and Resurrect work for the Fellow even while your pick pet or horse is out.
  • Your own buffs survive death and teleport; the Gold honor buff shows its gold sword; the Recovery skill tree no longer crashes the game.
  • A new launcher look with rotating artwork and working Discord and Website buttons, a transparent start-up splash, and the R3SPECT logo at login.
21 September 2026

The Silk Road

Trade, guard, steal

Remember loading a caravan in Jangan, hoping nobody saw you leave town? It's back. Buy goods, take them across the Silk Road and sell them far away. Hunters ride beside you, thieves wait on the road, and every part of it pays honor — no stones, no coins.

Hunter suit · trade caravan

The Trader

Summon your caravan and visit the Specialty Trader of any of the six towns. Each good costs 1 honor, and a caravan carries 33. The fuller the load, the higher its trade rating, up to five stars.

Drive it to a specialty trader in another town and press Sell All. The farther the goods travelled, the more they pay. And once a day the merchant hands you a free load.

Hunter suit · the escort

The Hunter

Join a trader's party and ride with the caravan as its guard. Be at their side when they sell and you earn 30% of the sale on top. It never comes out of the trader's share.

If an ambush brings the caravan down, fight for its goods. Whatever a hunter picks up goes straight back into the trader's caravan. Hunters and thieves fight without PK penalty.

Thief suit · the ambush

The Thief

Every caravan on the road is fair game. Select one and you see what it carries — caravans with goods the den wants carry a gold sigil only thieves can see. Bring it down, load the goods onto your own transport and run for Thief Town.

The Bandit Den Return Scroll (1 honor at any Smuggler) takes 60 seconds to cast, so survive the hunters first. The Stolen Goods Dealer pays your stake back, and more for goods taken far out on the roads — goods robbed right outside their towns pay only the stake.

The long road pays

Honor per good

Both directions pay the same. A full caravan costs 33 honor, and each specialty trader shows the rates beside the shop.

Where the goods go

The town workshops

Every town has a workshop that needs four goods from far-away towns. Deliver them and it turns them into Elements of Destruction, sold for 1 honor each in the R3 Store in Hotan.

A good the workshop is running short of pays up to 1.5 times its route — the panel beside the merchant and your caravan shows where your load is wanted most.

When a caravan falls, its goods stay on the ground for 10 minutes and the run goes on: pick them up again and they still pay.

World uniques

Built for a maxed-out server

The uniques were made for players far below today's cap, so they went down in seconds. Not any more. They now stand up to fully geared characters: they hit hard, call in elite guards as their health falls, and bringing one down takes a team.

The ladder

Each one harder than the last

Tiger Girl · Cerberus · Captain Ivy · Uruchi · Isyutaru · Lord Yarkan · Demon Shaitan · Kidemonas · Karkadann · Merikh

Tiger Girl is a fight for a small group. By Merikh you will want several parties. Pull one too far from home and it walks back with its health intact.

The reward

The whole team is paid

  • Honor for every party that really fought, split by the damage each one did and shared equally inside the party.
  • Elements of Destruction and Sabakun's jewels drop on the ground — more from the stronger bosses.
  • Unique honor counts toward your crest title, just like arena and trade honor.
The great bosses

Back in power

Names every Silkroad player knows, each famous in its own cap, brought back to full strength so they are never an easy task again.

Together, as always

Roc & Death Bone

The second strongest pair in the world.

The gate on Mt. Roc opens every 12 minutes. Break the seal stones and the Roc comes down from the sky; beat the Roc and Death Bone rises. One group at a time.

A group event

BeakYung the White Viper

Among the top powerhouses of R3.

Medusa of the Qin-Shi Tomb. Get past the guardians, the Flame Master and the trial gates, and she is waiting in her chamber. Bring a group, a big one.

Hunters & thieves only

The gods of the Job Temple

Always open — to anyone in a job suit.

Selket, Neith, Anubis and Isis, then Haroeris — and when Haroeris falls, Seth's room opens. No points to collect, no faction lock: hunters and thieves fight side by side.

The Temple of Destruction

Awakening Death Bone

The strongest of them all.

The Reckless Big Spider, the Devil of Lamp and Hell Khulood guard the newest temple. When the last of the three falls, the Awakening Death Bone rises.

Survival Arena · Open around the clock

Step into the ring

Sign up at the Survival Arena Manager any time. One queue, three ways to fight, and the map grows with the crowd — eight players fill the Colosseum, a full house of 32 takes the Palace.

Every player for themselves

Last Man Standing

One life. One winner.

Outlast everyone. Opponents are masked as "Challenger" and a live panel shows who is still standing. Your placing pays, and the top four earn extra for every kill.

Ten minutes, no mercy

Deathmatch

Fall, rise, fight again.

Ten minutes, and you revive after every death. Placing goes by kills — most kills when the clock runs out takes it, and the whole server hears about it.

Party

2v2 · 4v4 · 8v8

Bring your friends — they keep their real names. Best of five rounds, up to five minutes each.

The queue

30 seconds to sign up

Each new sign-up adds another 30 seconds — twice at most, so never more than a minute and a half. Solo matches need 8 players to pay honor.

The rules

A fair fight

No stealth or invisibility. Berserk only in Deathmatch and Party. Warlock reflect is off in Last Man Standing and Deathmatch, and your pet doesn't give your name away.

Honor per match

What a fight pays

Party 8v8—about 38 win · 11 loss+1 per 2
Battle Arena3win 35 · loss 8 · draw 15+1 per 4

Bigger solo matches pay more: +10% for every full 8 players above 8. In party arenas both teams earn kill points, and half points carry to your next party match. The Battle Arena pays Honor now, not arena coins.

Protection+5% damage1003,000
Charge+7% damage2006,000

Titles count the honor you earn this month — Survival and Battle Arena, uniques and trade together. The requirement rises every day; the best title you reach stays until the month ends. On the 1st a new season starts — you keep last month's title until you earn a new one. The Hall of Fame keeps twelve seasons.

Honor you hold (C tab) resets on the 1st of every month — spend it. It sets your Honor Rank at the Storage Keeper and its buff — Copper, Silver, Gold or Crown, kept through death and teleport — and pays for the honor shop: scrolls, potions and summon flowers.
The Valor · Live

Fly your own colours

Your Valor profile opens with L: your portrait, your name, and two banners of your own design. Finish the season in the top three and your banners hang on the town gates for everyone to see.

The gates

Hotan for the champion

Honor rank #1 flies in Hotan, #2 in Jangan, #3 in Constantinople — on the gate poles, not the fortress flags. Guild crests stay the guild's.

Two shapes

Cut for you, or your own

Server shape cuts your picture into a banner: a curved top and a swallowtail. Own shape shows it exactly as you drew it — your own tabs around the pole, your own tail.

The wind

It moves

The cloth sways in a light breeze, catches a gust now and then, and whips harder when it rains.

Banner guide

Draw your own banner

Everything you need for an own-shape banner — three zones, one canvas, no guesswork.

01 · The canvas

72 × 216, top to bottom

A PNG at a 1 : 3 ratio (width : height). Transparency comes from the PNG's alpha channel.

Above the bar rows 0–2 Bar / wrap rows 3–13 Cloth row 14 to 215 ← your own tail
ZoneRowsHeight
Above the bar0–20–1.4%
Bar / wrap3–131.4–6.5%
Cloth14–2156.5–100%

The top 6.5% of the height is the tab zone. The bar covers the full width, so each tab can sit anywhere along it.

02 · Working large

Design big, export exact

Work at any size with a 1 : 3 ratio — whole multiples keep every line exact.

SizeAboveBarCloth
72 × 2160–33–1414
288 × 8640–1212–5656
576 × 17280–2424–112112
720 × 21600–3030–140140
Export at exactly 72 × 216. The game never resizes a large image — anything bigger is cropped from the top centre, so a 720 × 2160 file would show only its top-centre corner. The one exception: art of 24 × 72 or smaller is enlarged ×3.
03 · Design tips

Make it hang right

  • Tabs — draw your loops across rows 0–13 (the top 6.5%) with transparent gaps between them. Opaque pixels wrap around the bar; the bar shows through the gaps.
  • Tail — any shape: pointed, swallowtail, fringe, torn. Everything transparent shows the world behind.
  • Wind — the cloth sways below the bar and moves more towards the bottom; the tab zone stays still.
  • L window — your profile shows the banner at a third of its size (24 × 72), fading out the top ~14% and bottom ~17%. The tabs won't show there — that's intentional.
Files & registration

From your folder to the gate

  • Put Banner\<CharacterName>_1.png (left cloth) and _2.png (right cloth) in the Banner folder inside your Silkroad folder — the patch creates it, with a short README.
  • The file name must be your exact character name — Asteria01_1.png will not be found for a character called Asteria. The easy way: Banner\banner_1.png and banner_2.png work for every character on your PC.
  • Register at the Survival Arena Manager with Register Banner (own shape). Both banners use the same choice.
  • To change a banner, choose Remove Banner, then register again — there is a 30-second wait between changes.
  • Only honor ranks #1–#3 appear on the Hotan, Jangan and Constantinople gates; every registered banner shows in the L window.
For comparison

Server shape

Use the same 72 × 216 canvas and just draw the design. Most art is 72 × 153, with the bottom left transparent.

The server cuts a small arc across the top and a V tail from row 153 (71%) down, and hangs the banner from the middle of the bar.

Leave the top ~4% free of detail — the arc cuts into it.
VIP ranks

Wear the badge

A badge beside your name and a rank buff in your bar from the moment you log in, plus the VIP shelf in the item mall. One rank per account; it runs to the 1st of next month.

Upgrading mid-month costs only the difference. No auto-renew — nothing is charged unless you buy it.
New in the VIP mall: the Golden Shield gives a +12 Degree 15 shield the gold +15 glow.
Gold VIP or higher is needed to trade, drop, stall-sell or guild-store equipment, Elements and Sabakun's jewels.
Any VIP rank also lifts the login limit: more than one character from the same PC, and clientless play.
